The Spanish Demonstration Project (DP) takes place in Axarquía (Andalusia), a semi-arid region facing severe and long-standing water scarcity. With the growing use of reclaimed water for irrigation, the DP promotes sustainable practices by addressing both opportunities and challenges linked to this resource.
At its core is the RICHWATER digital tool, designed to optimize fertigation with reclaimed water, reduce fertilizer use, cut costs and emissions, and prevent environmental risks such as soil degradation and water pollution.
