As part of the BONEX project, we have conducted a series of participatory workshops across all Demonstration Projects (DPs) to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange among the various stakeholders involved. These workshops have been crucial for the practical implementation of the Nexus approach, which integrates the management and governance of the water, energy, food, and ecosystems sectors.
In addition to the work and materials used in these workshops, we are pleased to present the Nexus Bridge Plans (NBPs) that have been developed as a result of these activities. The NBPs are contextual and specific plans that guide the transdisciplinary implementation of the proposed Nexus solutions, aimed at policymakers and practitioners. These plans include specific objectives, measures, tasks, milestones, roles of different actors, risk assessment, and economic feasibility of the WEFe solutions.
In this section, you will find detailed information about the participatory workshops conducted, as well as the NBPs developed for each of the DPs. Our goal is to provide practical and tailored tools, examine concrete and contextual technological innovations, improve policies and governance, and facilitate the practical implementation of the Nexus approach that balances social, economic, and ecological commitments.
