This Nexus Bridging Plan presents the BONEX strategy for Morocco’s Souss-Massa region, where desalinated water, renewable energy, and soilless farming systems were combined to address urgent WEFE Nexus challenges. Through local research, field trials, and stakeholder engagement, the plan demonstrates how technological integration—solar-powered irrigation, magnetic water treatment, and biofertilisers, can improve yields and reduce environmental impact. A practical guide and training program were also developed to support farmers in adopting these sustainable practices.
