In this section you can download the Nexus Bridging Plans (NBPs), one of the main results of the BONEX project. These plans apply the Nexus approach to the integrated management of Water, Energy, Food, and Ecosystems (WEFE), co-developed with over 250 stakeholders across the 7 demonstration areas: Spain, Italy, Lebanon, Tunisia, Jordan, Portugal, and Morocco.
Each NBP provides a diagnosis of WEFE challenges, an evaluation of innovative solutions, and an implementation roadmap. Key topics include water reuse, solar irrigation, agrivoltaics, nature-based solutions, and digital decision-support tools.
