Prof. Arwa Abdelhay Receives Best Presentation Award at the 7th International Conference on Environment, Resources, and Energy Engineering (EREE 2025) for Showcasing BONEX Jordan Demonstration Site 

Tokyo, Japan | 25–27 July 2025 – Prof. Arwa Abdelhay of the German Jordanian University was awarded the Best Presentation Award at the 7th International Conference on Environment, Resources, and Energy Engineering (EREE 2025) in Tokyo, Japan. 

Prof. Abdelhay’s presentation featured the Jordan demonstration pilot implemented under the BONEX Project, funded by PRIMA, showcasing innovative strategies for operationalizing the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus. The work emphasized practical solutions for enhancing synergies and reducing trade-offs among sectors, contributing to more sustainable and integrated resource management. 

In recognition of the significance, quality, and impact of this research, Prof. Abdelhay received the Best Presentation Certificate from the conference organizers. Furthermore, the paper has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Environmental Science and Development (IJESD).
