Beja, April 30th – NBI, a partner in BONEX, will participate in the landmark 40th edition of Ovibeja on April 30th in Beja, Portugal. This year’s participation highlights the innovative BONEX project, a cornerstone in promoting nature-based solutions in agriculture, in collaboration with CENSE (Centro de Estudos em Sustentabilidade) from Universidade Nova de Lisboa. The “Agroecology and Nature-Based Solutions: Proposals for Alentejo” session will feature insights from NBI’s experts, Nuno Oliveira and Paulo Pereira, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Expobeja Auditorium.

This session is privileged to include perspectives from Paula Antunes from CENSE/Universidade Nova de Lisboa – a partner in BONEX – and testimonials from two of the project’s beneficiaries, Madalena Freire de Andrade representing Sinvepart and Maria Baptista from Nogam. Their experience and insights will enrich the discussion, illustrating the practical applications and benefits of the project’s outcomes and demonstrating the tangible benefits of such initiatives in the Alentejo region.

The BONEX project is a testament to NBI’s commitment to leading the way in sustainable agricultural practices. It showcases the potential of collaborative efforts in addressing environmental challenges through agroecology and nature-based solutions. This event is a must-attend for anyone interested in the future of sustainable agriculture and ecological conservation. Check out the agenda
