La Axarquia located in Malaga, Southern Spain. RichWater® is a water treatment and reclamation technology based on advanced membrane filtration which produces nutrient-rich high-quality effluent to be used in irrigation and fertilization of crops and integrates a nutrient monitoring system to optimize the use of fertilizers in agriculture. An innovative nutrient balance calculation tool will be incorporated and validated during BONEX to optimise nutrient reuse and reduce fertilizer needs by farmers. The demo site is located in the RichWater Living Lab, at the urban WWTP of Algarrobo Costa and cover 0.5 ha of tomatoes, avocado and mangoes trees.
